| | |  | Child Environment Nepal (CEN) is established to improve the welfare of children and their communities in rural Nepal. CEN strongly believes in empowering communities by providing them the means to improve themselves. We encourage development through the use of local resources and knowledge, which leads to financial independence and self-sustainability. Currently, CEN is managing an orphanage just outside Kathmandu. The orphanage is providing a home to 13 orphans from Jogimara village in Nepal’s west, | | all of who lost their parents in the same tragic circumstances. CEN provides the desperately needed housing, education and health care to these children, allowing them to survive, grow and build brighter futures not only for them, but also for their families and rural communities. |  | We have also planned a number of future activities to further CEN’s objectives. More information can be found on the Future Projects page. CEN cannot achieve its objectives without your continuous support! | | WHY would you help us? | - You can contribute to a better future for Nepalese children and their families;
- You foster improved education and health care benefiting a number of rural villages;
- You strengthen local communities by providing them the means to help themselves;
- You can have rewarding experiences by volunteering with us;
- A small amount of money for you means a lot to us in Nepal!
You can make a real difference. |  | | | | | |
