Both permanent sponsor organisations Spirit Adventures (based
in Melbourne, Australia) and Himalayan Glacier Trekking are
committed to ensure that CEN is a sustainable organisation.
Currently, part of the companies’ revenue is used to
fund the children’s care home.
Travelers’ Contributions
Spirit and HGT’s shared philosophy is the “zero
foot print” idea:
Wherever we travel, not only should we leave a “zero
foot print” on the environment, but we should also give
something back to the people and cultures that have given
us so much enjoyment.
It is in this context that a percentage of the companies’
revenue will continue to be set aside to fund CEN’s
activities and projects. Depending on the financial situation
this percentage may vary over time.
