The Program

Many children from remote mountain areas in Nepal do not get access to proper education as the geographical location and the inability of the country to finance the system hamper it. As fluency in English is becoming a more and more important qualification for job placements and future professional success, we want to assure that children from remote areas get a proper English language education.

Participants will be teaching English in a secondary community school. Children of that age already have some basic knowledge of English. Your task is to widen the children´s English speaking and writing capabilities and to take efforts to improve their pronunciation. You teach max. 6 to 7 hours a day including breaks. There might be optional classes for interested community members or for the teachers.
